Bechena
Hi! I am a neocaridina shrimp keeper, and like most shrimpers, hope to get into caridina sometime in the future. I know how difficult caridina can be compared to the neos, but I've heard that tiger shrimp (caridina) are a sort of step up from neos. They supposedly aren't as easy as neos, but aren't as hard as the taiwan bees, has anyone here found this to actually be true?
Jadenlea
You can probably add a few to your neo tank and find out. The parameters are close to the same
shrimpybuisness
Yes Tigers are a great step up from neos! Ive kept OEBT and Tangerines. But i recommend trying some normal tiger shrimp first!

DETAquarium
Glad to hear your ready to take the next step. I agree if your wanting to keep and breed Caridina, and want a relatively easy/smooth transition get a Tiger species. As they require a similar water chemistry as Neocaridina. If you want a bit more of a challenge then get CRS/CBS.
