Lyana
Just wondering what everyone thinks about bkk jelly shrimp. Are they just black king kongs that are lacking something? Or do they stay that way? nuri

DETAquarium
Currently I think the consensus of Blue Jelly TBs are they are just a poor quality BKK. Alot of time then your BKK are just born they can look blue or a dull black, which usually deteriorates over time and the black saturation becomes prevalent. I know a few that are attempting and have had success with breeding a type of "Blue Jelly", but I think for the mean time there isn't a stable line. r45t4m4n
I bought some "Blue Jelly", after a few weeks in my tank they are now BKK. Soothing Shrimp
Amyers22
I purchased some from Joes Aqua and they retained their "jelly" coloration. Only one darkened, but that's when she was berried and then she lightened back up. Wygglz
jledermann
I bought some from joes about 2-3 weeks ago, they have slightly darkened but all are in good shape and have a blue-mint color, interesting shrimp for sure
Lyana
I'm getting 4 from joes too, so we'll see what happens
Wygglz
Keep us posted please! These are the only shrimp that take those water parameters that I want badly enough to consider doing another setup for.
jledermann
I moved a few BKK jelly to a tank and then added shadow pandas and cant tell the difference now. But the BKK jellys in the other tank are still very blue
Lyana
So it seems two have turned black, or so dark blue I can't tell anymore, and one is still some blue. Soothing Shrimp
adrand
Mine turned to panda coloration for a bit and now a shadow panda color after a recent molt.

Jaykidding
That would be cool if it kept its green. Also wygglz hopefully they find a way to keep the green color by the time you get the tank set up!
