colorfan
Are you running your canisters thru UGF or just using a sponge in the tank? Setting up a new tank and would like some opinions.

I use a sponge on the intake to prevent shrimp from getting sucked in, but also use a hydro-sponge filter in addition to my canister filter which is a ehiem 2211. New tanks will have an HMF and Im thinking about putting the canister intake behind the HMF and using my NAG adjustable outlet to dissipate flow. You can never have enough filtration. colorfan, Shrimpie and BigXor
DETAquarium
I use all Eheim 2213 canister filters, I simply put a Stainless Steel Mesh Filter Guard on the end of the input to prevent shrimplets being consumed.
