ctaylor3737
Does the horizontal white one have a clear midsection? If so, that snow is called "skeleton." I'm confused lol.Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Louie
Soothing Shrimp
Taylor, a Skeleton looks like a high grade white rili. Louie
Louie
I'm confused lol. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Lol I have had shrimp for couple of years now and I don't know what is what . My first tank was assorted colors combined which have given me neat colors and some drab ghost like ''colors'' . I called some Rili which Soothing pointed out they weren't thus I can see how that would confuse you . Some of my whites have clear midsections which Soothing pointed out are called White Skeletons but considering the hodge podge of ''lineage'' these shrimp now have lol , I would not bother separating any to breed them . Maurice
Thanks Louie The aluminum strip you see above the two tanks is a LED strip that I buy at the local China market for R80 which is around $6, and this works great. It's around 5cm above the tanks The tiger and RCS tank has 2*24 w T5 around 30 cm above the tank Louie

Maurice
Hi Louie Believe me, if I had more space I would have setup a rack, will have a breeding rack setup later this year when I buy my own place I have ordered 20 CBS SS, 5 CBS S and another 5 CRS SS grade, they will be here on Wednesday night. Would have loved some SSS but nothing in stock from the supplier Will do another update once they in their new home Louie and Vpier

Maurice
It's still warm but we heading into early Autum Now, At night the average is around 14-18 and the day around 24-30 But in winter the evenings are around 5-8 and during the days around 13-20 deg Celsius Our winters are quite dry here in Johannesburg but completely the opposite in Cape Town. Louie, I see you are from Miami, I am sure our summers are quite the same as yours, tho we don't get tropical storms like you do with the strong winds and so forth. Same temps but winter nights here of 9 Celsius are rare . Think we had about 7 scatters days of 9 Celsius this year with average being 16 to 20C at night and going by weather now winter is over . Our summer days are 33 Celsius and higher and we will be there in bit over a month . I actually thought your summer days were easily hotter than ours . I have engulfing hate for the cold , lol but love the heat . '' tho we don't get tropical storms'' Now that I do hate .

Maurice
Thanks Vpier Another update the baby crs are doing great still counting the same number so things looking up this is my first time that I have this much success with them There are another 2 berried so this population is about to explode in the next month with the 4 berried I have counted 2 from the one lady that looks like Golden Bees, I will wait for her to drop again and see. Looks like they have been bred with Golden Bees from the supplier. I will wait till I have a couple and move them over to their own tank Babies growing very fast Looks like a Golden Bee? ShrimpP
How's it going Maurice! (pretty sure you are the same one on TPT I see come on every once in a while) Beautiful tanks and congrats on the shrimplets! I was going to do a similar 10 gallons (Just the cheap Aqueons :P) side-by-side split aquascape (like a hill or tree stump meet in the middle). Those Taiwan Fire Reds on the vibrant green plants are particularly nice! Maurice
DETAquarium
Congratulations on all the new shrimplets! Looks like a golden/snow white to me. Maurice
Soothing Shrimp
I've posted this question before, but now looks like a good time to ask again. Is there a way to tell the difference between a snow and a royal white? I was told a royal white will still have the flower or lightning although empty. This one appears to have that? Maurice
Thanks ShrimpP Im confused here, what is TPT? Soothing Shrimp, I never heard of royal whites, so looking forward what the reply's will be on your question
