wicca32
i always read black is dominate over red when both are in a tank. but i found my red was way more dominate. i ended up with far more red than black. i know when they first started popping up red was recessive. but since there are far more red out there now could the black now take the back seat. could red have really become dominate? Soothing Shrimp
Well it depends. I know there are some that have sworn that they have red dominate lines... and I suppose it could be. However, consider this. If you have a black het red x black het red, you'll get a percentage of reds. When a homozygous red x red = red, or black het red x red = higher percentage red, then all it takes is the right amount of reds to start over running a tank.
