Stratefyte
I started working at a local fish market (the opposite of what I do at home) and we found this kind of crustacean in the body of a grouper we received in a delivery... the creature has been put in a jar and preserved at the local university (FGCU). Anyway we kind of have a bet as to who can figure out what it is first. Help me win this bet shimp family!! You guys never let me down. Jadenlea
Its a Gigantic tick that someone pulled off their dog and through into the ocean thinking it would die but nothing kills those things so it just grew and grew until a fish ate it!! Let me know if we win Vpier, Vshrimp and jem_xxiii
Stratefyte
Haha that's funny because I calley it a "sea tick" but I really do hope someone knows what this is... everyone is baffled.
Pokeshrimp
Is it one of those things that eat the tounge of the fish and takes its place?
Stratefyte
Not sure if that's a joke pokeshrimp but I have never heard of that
Pokeshrimp
Oh its real, lol. I remember watching it on the Netflix, it was a documentary about unusual creatures or something. It takes the place of the tongue and steals the food of the host fish.
Jynn
It is NOT a tongue eating louse, those things look more like roly polys. Unfortunately, i've got no clue what it IS.

Stratefyte
That yeti crab is the closest comparison I have seen so far however the yeti crab has large front claws and most of it's legs come out of the carapace. This creature is slightly different.
