brocknorman
Hello I am going on a trip this weekend for 7 days and I was wondering what I should feed my shrimp. Should I feed them algae wafers? Or should I order a brand of food that will last a while? If so, please leave the brand and where I could purchase it. -Brock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OMG Aquatics
How big is your tank and how many shrimps? If your filtration isn't air powered, you might also need to find a way to auto top off unless your tank doesn't evaporate much.
brocknorman
It is 10 gallon with air powered along filter and 6 blue bolts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shrimple minded
Isn't this the tank that you just very recently completed cycling? If it is a new tank it may not be "mature" with adequate biofilm and goodies. Leaf litter and snowflake are both good options for a week-long absence. svetilda
brocknorman
Would "ALGAE WAFERS" work? As well as biofilm? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OMG Aquatics
Since you only have 6 shrimp in a 10G, they would be fine feeding on just biofilm.
35ppt
What brand algae wafer?
dreamer_yoyo
You don't need to feed them if you are away only for a week. They would be just fine.
DETAquarium
6 Blue Bolts are really not enough to leave an algae wafer. I would break a piece of snowflake into quarters and drop a piece in.

Soothing Shrimp
Snowflake works well, too.
