sarah
Is this Utricularia? I've never seen it in person, but I discovered a few strands that look like it in a recent plant order. I think I got them all out, but how dangerous is it for my shrimplets if I missed a bit?
Soothing Shrimp
I'm not an expert, but it looks like bladderwort to me. sarah
seaj
I have some in my tank, never thought that it was dangerous to shrimp. I thought they feed only on smaller bug things?
Pokeshrimp
I have some in my rcs/crs tank and haven't noticed any deaths because of it. Sure is ugly though and impossible to remove once it gets tangled up in mosses.
ShrimpP
I've never had it in my tanks, but I can imagine it killing little shrimplets. Maybe the shrimplets learn it's a danger and stay away? Probably not though haha. Never seen it in person. Is it really small? From pics, I would think it's big enough to fit some little shrimplets inside?? http://phys.org/news/2011-02-aquatic-carnivorous-ultra-fast.html http://www.tfhmagazine.com/aquatic-plants/feature-articles/plants-that-bite-back-keeping-carnivorous-plants-full-article.htm Ehh, just saw this vid (read the vid description as well)
