Soothing Shrimp
What do you keep your TT params at? Do you have trouble with them breeding? Trouble keeping babies alive?
svetilda
I lost all of my TT's (need to ask James He maybe they were imported)... so no help with TT's. But I have Aura Blues and I believe they're same shrimp but different color... If it's right then I keep mine in more caridinas parameters (ph 6.6-6.8, TDS about 160-180) and they breed very well for me. (The TT's I had were with my cherries in inert substrate). Shrimple minded
Soothing, I currently have my TTs in card params (Controsoil to pH 5.85, GH+ to 5-6), but I'm thinking about slooooooooow dripping some into my Neo chemistry (GH/KH+) to see if they can make the transition and have a dedicated home. Aennedry
Mine share with the Taiwan Fire Reds. So PH is around 7.5, TDS 190. KH 2, GH 8 at the moment. They berry up well once comfortable and the babies are easy to raise. =^._.^= Soothing Shrimp

My pH and TDS are maybe a tiny bit higher (around 7.6 and 200 TDS) but that's about it. Soothing Shrimp
Aennedry
It did take several months for them to get use to the tank before they started saddling up. I guess they like to get good and settled before raising a family. Now for the OEBT culls I got... they are in similar parameters as I use the same water for everyone, but one month after they arrived it was wam-bam-berried. And I thought they were the ones that would take their time. =^._.^= Soothing Shrimp
Soothing Shrimp
My green apple tigers have been berried, but the the babies rarely survive in 7+ph. I just dropped the gh more, and see some survival. I'm thinking about dropping ph, too.
