OblongShrimp
Those look like eggs. Is tat an amano shrimp? The eggs look tiny like they are from a shrimp species that has a larval stage.

metageologist
If that's an Amano which it apears to be. It is my understanding the larvae need salt water to survive.

ros2468
i think my plants make the green colour. I have read that babies have to be in seawater for survival. Is it ok to place my shrimp with the eggs in saltwater when they hatch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
metageologist
I have read the transition must be made slowly as if to mimic the shrimp moving from fresh through brackish into salt water. There is a fair amount of info on the Web regarding breeding these. In regards to your green water, that apears to be alge. Never had plants make my water green. You will need to get your nutrients under control to get rid of the green water or a UV filter.

Soothing Shrimp
That greenwater will definitely be good to use as food for your larvae though. My understanding is that the larvae are in brackish water, but mature to freshwater as adults. I don't know if adults would be okay in brackish /salt or not?
