Ramp Inc.
Hello! I'm new to shrimping and I have a question about crossing caridina lines. I've got a colony of BKK/BKK Panda and I was wondering if adding BTOE (BT0 & BT1) shrimps might produce attractive offspring? What color would their eyes be? Would they resemble anything pinto? Any ideas on what they might look like or what I might expect to see?

ohmiko
I think you'd get some fancy black tigers maybe but majority black coloration and patterns and orange eye has a chance to pass on, but it is regressive
r45t4m4n
Orange eye is recessive, so the offspring will most likely not have orange eyes. Both parents would need the recessive orange eye gene in order for it to be expressed in the offspring. They would look more like a tiger. Uriel RT
You won't get anything special until F4-F5 and as far as the Orange eyes go the chance is there but like the other replies said the genes are recessive so little chances.
