Soothing Shrimp
Has anyone heard or had the experience of a blue alleni magically producing eggs without mating?
chappy6107
I have not, but that would be really cool!
Revaria
My original crayfish laid eggs right before it died and they were definitely unfertilized as it was alone. Im not sure which species it was, but it was one of the plain brown north american ones sold in bait shops.
Soothing Shrimp
My blue alleni had eggs and were never been with a male. Looked viable, but she either ate or dropped them all.
Revaria
Yeah that seems pretty likely especially caused they were unfertilized. The good news is you now don't have an extra 200 crays to look after lol.
