Soothing Shrimp
This is being offerred for sale on another forum. I think the price is $300 and it is a 200+ gal Custom Acrylic Fish Tank, DIY Stand & Sump I think it is beautiful, but I can't afford it. heh
Subtletanks91
Now this would be a tank you could have jelly fish in the middle and shrimp on the top two parts. I seen this. Price is kinda steep for a used tank though, even if it is custom
Soothing Shrimp
I immediately thought jellyfish, too.
Subtletanks91
Great minds think alike my friend. Haha Not many people know that to keep jellyfish you have to have a tank with no corners, and the current has to be circular otherwise they will die. Like a fish in a bag getting caught in a corner. Doc4PC2
Yeah, Jellyfish have to go in a circle. Strange, but man do they look awesome! It is a great tank idea. Jellyfish and shrimp would be very unique.
Louie
The jellyfish never did catch on did they? I suspect , round tank and all they died very easily .

countryboy12484
My wife wants me to do a jellyfish tank... ive never messed with saltwater tanks and I know they are a whole new level of expensive. ..
Soothing Shrimp
Nice thing (or bad thing) about jellyfish tanks, is that the less decor you have for them the better. In fact empty is great. They are so fragile that they can rip on a just about anything...at least that's what I was told.
Subtletanks91
That is true Bryce. I've seen a Lfs who carries them. They keep them in an empty tank inside of a critter keeper
Louie
Soothing, Nice links. I thought it had all died out. Two marine places that I go to stopped carrying the tanks years ago, They said the jelly fish died too easily and it never caught on . Tanks are expensive for such small size . Soothing Shrimp
Doesn't have to be. Here's a great way to do it with a 10g tank and water jug. http://www.ventralfins.com/diy_kreisel.html countryboy12484 and Louie
