BugMan
Hi people!!! I'm new on the forum. I'm from South Africa. I unfortunately only have red cherry shrimp at this stage but I'm planning on getting some other species. I've had aquaria ask my life and I've only started with the shrimp now... Hope to learn lots from you guys!! Sent from my GT-S5300 using Tapatalk

BugMan
BugMan, You must have a rather interesting diversity of reptiles and tree frogs in S. Africa . Do you keep any? Louie . Yes we have a great diversity of them. Unfortunately laws prohibit keeping any indigenous reptiles or amphibians. :-( Louie

Louie
BugMan. I did not know that . Years ago I kept and bred (very easy) African reed frogs . I imagine you have to buy your shrimp online no local pet stores carry any ? country, As the saying goes "People only find out what you keep if you tell them". Soothing Shrimp
Of course over half the fun of keeping something is to discuss it with others. Louie

sillyclownloach
OOoo awesome frogs BugMan! I'd love to keep frogs but my relatives would probably freak out at the sight of mealworms or crickets in the house. I had a hard time convincing them that the frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp that I have won't come back to life. If I had live food for my pets I'd probably make them all feint...
