Greenteam
So I purchased some Golden/Snow White shrimp like a month ago and I'm struggling with this darn things. I keep them in my TB tank to breed with my BB's and of the 10 I purchased 5 have died.... I can't figure out what the heck is causing them to drop dead. No other shrimp have issues just them so I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong with them or what. I feed: snow flake, fresh veggies, bebi I add: Bacter AE, Old Sea Mud, and BT-9 a small amount during water changes. tank sits at Ph: 6 Gh:6-7 Kh: 0 TDS: 160 My CRS/CBS and my TB's grow and breed just fine in the tank so I can't solve this dilemma. Soothing Shrimp
Different bacterias from different shrimp colonies will sometimes cause problems.

Soothing Shrimp
The bacteria works both ways. My bacteria here isn't the same you have there, so tolerance is tested.
Puddles
Sometimes crap just happens. It looks like there should be no reason they would die. How do the remaining 5 seem? Normal behavior?
Subtletanks91
You could always add something like beta glucan to try and boost there immune systems. I've lost a few shrimp this way. Bryce is right. And it's something no one ever takes into consideration.
Greenteam
The 5 left are going strong and hopefully stay that way lol. There is one in the group who has a funny look because his nose points straight up to the sky like a 90 degree angel lol. ctaylor3737
Soothing Shrimp
I've had one or two like that. Usually it's due to a bad molt. After another molt, they were fine again.
