Soothing Shrimp
I can see whole lines of TB being messed up and bred with it, just because of the name alone. Too bad it wasn't just called a yellow taitibee or something.
Hungle64
I also like to have some Crystal White.
DETAquarium
I am looking at spending between 20-$25 per PRL CRS. PRL can run into the hundreds of dollars (and much more) for one shrimp, so what are you willing to pay pricewise for a single prl? Price often determines opaqueness of white and brand name. DETAquarium
Will, Please send me a PM if you plan to do this and proceed with importing. I would probably be doing it on my own but giving people who preordered 20-30% off or something.
OblongShrimp
ok will do. I am going to try and get something together here in the next couple weeks.

Hungle64
Hey Will Do you have a source for crystal white? Maybe we can get a group buy ?
OblongShrimp
Once I figure out the rough estimate for shipping costs I will post up what I have access to and estimates prices and see what people are interested in h4n and DETAquarium

Sbarbee54
Yes crystal white bees would be awesome. So hard to come by
Subtletanks91
Wouldn't crystal white shrimp be skeletons selectively bred for a clear body and white stripe?
Soothing Shrimp
You could do it that way, but it would be a different var. cws is a TB.
Subtletanks91
-.- must have
Sbarbee54
Yes a cws also called some time white or clear King Kong
Vicente Mcdonnell
I thought crystal white is a crystal bee and white king kong is the TB. As shown here: http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large-5/caridina-cantonensis-family-tree-h-esdaile.jpg
Sbarbee54
That is a on going debate among many breeders...... As the one I am looking for is all clear but a few white strip highlights, not like a skeleton. I have many of those
Jayr_Tigley
I am weary on the yellow King Kong as it is really a tiatibee as it is a tb breed back to tt. That is how they came out with it. So I don't know how it would breed out to each other and to other type shrimpWhere did you get this info?(Just asking )
Soothing Shrimp
Sbarbee shared the info with me, as well. He received the info direct from the breeder. He's incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to shrimp, so I value his input.

Sbarbee54
Yeah straight from the breeder, I talk with him often online. He is a great breeder, but the push Taiwan and other countries have to get something to market concerns me. We see it with Carbon rilli not breeding true, orange rilli, Bloody Mary shrimp, blue diamonds and those are just some. I imagine if you kept them all by them self they might breed good and keep color, but I dont know about mixing them with other TB or CRS seeing they have TT blood in them. You might get a bunch of random undesired offspring. Soothing Shrimp
DETAquarium
Will, any updates on shrimp and pricing? I am primarily interested in PRL CRS if you are still planning on receiving them. Vicente Mcdonnell
