niwradshrimp
Hello Do people have experiencing keeping these shrimp? Will they live together with Opae Ula in a lightly brackish tank? Aquatic arts is selling them and says they are kept in brackish water of 1.006 sg
wyzazz
I wouldn't buy anything from Aquatic Arts. Just my opinion though, YMMV. ILikeAsianBooty
niwradshrimp
Is aquatic arts liable to cheat me? What has been your experience with them?
Valek
Lots of bad reviews. They've been known to sell sick shrimps ILikeAsianBooty
wyzazz
I've never heard anything good about them, all sorts of folks getting dead/sick livestock, etc... ...buy from hobbyists and reputable sellers and you will be much happier in the long run! OblongShrimp
The Caridina that you are talking about does not breed in freshwater (there is a larval stage so you likely won't be able to breed them). Aquatic Arts is an importer so many of their shrimp (mainly neos I believe) are going to be infected with parasites. The only way you will be able to get that particular species though is through an importer because I have never heard of anyone breeding them in captivity. I believe their customer service is good based on what I have heard they just sometimes sell infected shrimp. They shouldn't breed with Opae Ula since one had a larval state and the other does not.
